PCN?? WTF??
If you’re reading this page, you are undoubtedly looking for answers about the old Pool Cue News blog. Well, sadly I’m not going to be able to help you out much in this department. If you were a reader back in late May 2011, you probably know what the deal was, but suffice it to say, here’s the long and short of it:
- Schmuck creates anonymous pool and billiards blog
- Said schmuck tells it like it is with regards to the billiards industry
- Said schmuck gets outed as a result of a trusted someone (who thinks they aren’t known but actually are) telling someone else to do some dirty work on their behalf
- Said schmuck panics, wipes entire server and goes all Anthony Weiner on it, claiming hackers
- Said schmuck quickly realizes this move was an error and owns it, making a public statement about the blog and its purpose
- Said schmuck starts new blog with a new, non-anonymous feel, griping about all sorts of random crap, some of which is still billiards industry specific, in the process (as it still is a cathartic exercise)
